A good feeling
Obersinn lies in an idyllic valley, surrounded by green hills. This is where Senger's toy animals start life, lovingly made by hand and then sent out on their long journey.
Volker and Sabine Senger had a good feeling way back in 1985 when they created the first mouse family. The basic concept is a robustly-designed toy made to a high standard of finishing from natural materials, designed to last a long time. A friend for life.
Success came very soon. The mouse became the icon of Senger's toy animals.
They draw their inspiration for the individual design of their toys from the vital force of nature. They strip down the complexity of natural creatures to their typical features, combining harmony, ease of handling, and humour.
They want that their toy animals to create a bond with the child, so that they
can take on the role of a trusted companion, offering security and
helping development. They are delighted to know that children become
more creative through play with a small number of carefully selected toys.
They are also pleased that their animals can put a smile on the face of many adults, spiriting them back into childhood.
